Vancouver Whitecaps FC Girls Elite head coach, Jesse Symons, said, “The Sounders vs. Whitecaps FC rivalry has so much history. Both clubs are providing great foundations for soccer in the Northwest and we are really excited to continue it May 16th in Seattle.”

Jesse Symons said about his team, “Players have played at a variety of colleges in NCAA division 1 and have represented Canada at the youth and senior national team levels.  There is also a lot of experience with players having played at a variety of World Cups.”

This match will be the final exhibition match for the Sounders Women before kicking off the W-League regular season on May 23 in California.
